About Sac HVAC Pros
Sac HVAC Pros is an advertising and referral service for heating and cooling work in Sacramento. It is not a heating and air company and does not send out technicians. Saying so first is the point of this page.

How a call turns into a visit
You call the number on this site or send the form. That reaches us, and we pass it to one independent heating and air company that covers your part of Sacramento County. They call you, diagnose the system, give you a price and do the work. Your agreement and your warranty are with them. You pay nothing for the introduction.
Why the site exists
Search for AC repair in Sacramento and the first results are directories, national lead marketplaces that sell your number to several companies at once, and a few contractor sites. Plenty of good local heating and air companies are small, busy from June to September, and have no interest in running a website. This site is the front door for one of them, and the guides are here because a homeowner deciding whether to repair a 15-year-old system deserves a straight answer before anyone arrives.
What the guides will and will not say
They are written for Sacramento: the heat record, the Delta breeze, SMUD's rates and rebates, the split between city and county permits, and the age of the housing. When the honest answer is that a filter or a breaker was the problem, or that a system is not worth repairing, that is what they say. Figures on the site are what local companies generally quote, not a price list.
What is missing, on purpose
There are no testimonials, star ratings or before-and-after galleries here. This site has not done any work, so it has nothing of its own to show, and borrowing someone else's results would be inventing a record. The photographs are licensed stock and are not presented as jobs anyone here carried out.
Licensing
Sac HVAC Pros holds no contractor licence and makes no claim to one. The heating and air company you speak to is responsible for its own licence, insurance and permits. In California, check any company on the Contractors State License Board's Check A License page; for heating and air conditioning work the usual classification is C-20, and anyone handling refrigerant also needs EPA Section 608 certification.
Questions people ask about the arrangement
How is this paid for if the referral is free to me?
The heating and air company that receives the enquiries pays for them. What you pay for the repair is between you and that company, and nothing about this arrangement adds to it.
Does my request go to several companies?
No. It goes to one company. You will not be called by a queue of contractors bidding for the job.
What if the repair goes wrong?
Take it up with the company that did the work, under their warranty. Tell us as well, because this only works if the company on the other end of the phone is good.
