Contact
Calling is quicker when the house is already hot. If it is a question rather than a breakdown, the form works just as well.

Serving Sacramento, Arden-Arcade, Carmichael, Elk Grove and Rancho Cordova. Calls may be recorded — see the disclosure.
What happens next
Your call or request goes to one independent heating and air company that covers your ZIP code. They call you to talk through what the system is doing and, if it needs a visit, arrange one. They set their own schedule; in the first heat wave of the year every company in the county is stretched, so the earlier in the day you call, the better.
Useful to have to hand
None of it is required.
- What the system is doing: no air, warm air, short cycling, ice, water, noise
- Whether the outdoor fan spins and whether a breaker tripped
- Roughly how old the system is, or the model number on the outdoor unit label
- Where the furnace or air handler is: closet, garage or attic
- Your ZIP code
Before you call about a gas smell
Do not. Leave the house and call PG&E or 911 from outside first. A heating and air company is the second call, once the gas utility has made the house safe.
Calls are recorded
You will hear a short announcement before the call connects. California requires the consent of everyone on a call before it is recorded, and the announcement is that notice. If you would rather not be recorded, hang up and use the form.
Calls answered Mon–Fri 7am–7pm, Sat 8am–4pm
Common questions
Will someone come out today?
That depends on the company's schedule and the weather. Describe the problem clearly and call early in the day; that gives the best chance.
Can I send a photo?
Yes, once the company calls you back. A photo of the outdoor unit label and the furnace fault light saves time.
Or send a request
Say what the system is doing and a local heating and air company will call you to arrange a visit. Calls answered Mon–Fri 7am–7pm, Sat 8am–4pm Or call (916) 237-9687, which is quicker when the house is already hot.
